Common Inquiries
We know that letting someone else take care of your pet can be difficult. To make the process a little easier, we've put together some of the questions we're frequently asked. If there’s something we’ve missed, just reach out and we’ll do our best to help.
How do I get started?
After receiving your Online Inquiry, text or phone call, we'll contact you to schedule a 20 minute free Meet 'n' Greet in your home and ask you to fill out information forms & send proof of your pets' vaccination prior to beginning booking services with us.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes! we are fully licensed by the Town of Canmore, registered with the province of Alberta and we have insurance for dog walking and house sitting.
Is there a last minute cancellation fee?
We understand that it can be inconvenient to pay for services you don't need, when we reserve services for your pet, we organize our schedule to ensure their needs are met. We stick to a strict no overbooking policy, so we will turn down business if we are already booked.
Dog walk or Drop-in service: You can cancel any dog walk or drop-in service up to 24 hours without any charges, . However, last minute cancellation for dog walk or drop-in made with less than 24 hour notice will be charged at full-price.
House Sitting service: You can cancel any house sitting service up to 72 hours without any charges. However, last minute cancellation for house sitting made with less than 72 hour notice will be charged a 3 nights cancellation fee.
Do you take the dogs to off-leash park?
We will take your dog to an off-leash park if you would like us to. Otherwise, we will walk and play with your pet on leash while walking the neighborhood trails.
Do you offer walks in inclement weather?
Yes! As residents of the Bow Valley, we are accustomed to the elements, rain, shine, cold or snow, we will be there. We are happy to follow any instructions to provide care for your pet before, during and after their walk. We always recommend leaving a towel in your home entrance so we can clean paws & underbelly after a walk in inclement weather.
