Waggly Walks is committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") and SMS Opt-in information & consent. As part of this commitment, our privacy policy governs our actions as they relate to the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information.
INFORMATION COLLECTED
Waggly Walks collects personal information only with the customer’s consent. Only information necessary to complete services provided by Waggly Walks is collected.
When enrolling with Waggly Walks as a customer, Waggly Walks collects the following information: email address, phone number, name, physical address, pet’s name, pet’s veterinary name, pet’s gender, vaccination status, pet’s dietary information. The information collected during the enrollment process is received & collected by email or in person (printed copy). Customers complete the Introduction Form available online on our website and send it by email to info@wagglywalks.ca.
Waggly Walks collects email address information when a customer fills out our Contact Us form on our website, www.wagglywalks.ca . The email address collected is only used by Waggly Walks to respond to the Customer’s inquiry. Email addresses are never shared with any third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes or any other purposes.
Waggly Walks does not collect any financial information or payment methods. Waggly Walks will never ask you to share financial information over the phone, by mail, by SMS or in person.
HOW DOES WAGGLY WALKS USE THE INFORMATION COLLECTED
Waggly Walks uses personal information collected (physical address, pet’s name) to access a customer’s home to take the customer’s dog on a walk. Waggly Walks only access a customer’s home for the sole purpose of providing a scheduled appointment for the customer’s pet. The appointment must be scheduled by the customer. Waggly Walks will never give anyone access to a customer’s home.
With consent from the customers, Waggly Walks uses contact information (email address, phone number, SMS) to confirm a customer’s dog walking appointments. We use SMS to send photos of the customer’s dog walk. Customers will receive text messaging notification when the dog walk begins and ends, as well as information pertaining to the dog walk (route taken, potty breaks for their pet). Customers may opt-out of receiving SMS at any time (please see our Messaging Terms & Conditions below).
SHARING INFORMATION
Waggly Walks does not share information collected from customers with anyone for any purposes. Waggly Walks does not share information collected with any third parties for marketing & promotional purposes.Waggly Walks will never ask you to share personal financial information. SAFEGUARDING CUSTOMERS INFORMATION
Personal Information will be protected by security safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity level of the information. We take all reasonable precautions to protect your Personal Information from any loss or unauthorized use, access or disclosure.
CUSTOMER ACCESS
Upon request to Waggly Walks, as a customer, you will be informed of the existence and use of your Personal Information, and will be given access to it. You may verify the accuracy and completeness of your Personal Information, and may request that it be amended, if appropriate.
MESSAGING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Waggly Walks collects customers SMS Opt-in consent via a form and a waiver agreement found on its website. Customers may request a printed copy of the form to fill out by hand. Customers can request to have access to the form at any time.
By Opting-in and consenting to Waggly Walks privacy policy and messaging terms, you agree to receive account notification, schedule changes, photos of your pet and any information pertaining to the service provided to your pet by text messages from Waggly Walks. Messages frequency varies, message & data rate may apply.
